Composer Steven Smith (Jayme's husband) agrees. "We are entertained by and learn from the choices each character makes while we enjoy our safe distance from the consequences of their actions." In fact Smith and lyricist Jensen Oler felt that a primary theme of Sleepy Hollow was "you reap what you sow" and skillfully highlighted this concept in songs that accompany the storyÕs original prose.

The official website for the production is www.SleepyHollowShow.com, complete with online ticketing for the event, driving directions to the American Fork Amphitheater, notes about the production and its authors, and a wealth of historical and literary information about Washington Irving's classic American ghost story.

Tickets are $10 per single admission ($8 for children, students or seniors) and $45 per family (up to 6 immediate family members). Admission includes a Hayride through the Hollow and other activities. Seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. Audience members are encouraged to bring extra blankets (for sitting on and wrapping up in). Concessions will be available.

In 2008, the outdoor event plays October 3, 6-11 and 13 at 8:00 PM. Sleepy Hollow running time is approximately 1 hour. For further information, visit www.SleepyHollowShow.com or phone (801)-687-8951.
